Born and Raised Detroit Core
At Born and Raised Detroit Foundation, we are personally invested in making sure that people from Detroit are able to look back on their childhood 15 years from now and fondly look upon great memories that we were able to help bring to them—experiences that positively contributed to the person they have become. It is the love for an after school program, the security of a safe haven, and the excitement of a creative outlet. It's learning a sport or painting a mural, a great teacher, or an even better school.
It's these things that have the possibility to elevate childhood experiences. It's these life moments that create an excellent foundation and build character. By supporting positive initiatives that create experiences for Detroit's youth, it is our hope they will be proud to say they were Born and Raised in Detroit.
